Electrical Method (VES-ERT-IP-SP)

              
                 
It is a geophysical exploration method that has been widely used in underground research for many years. It can be divided into two groups as natural (Self Potential) and artificial electricity methods. In particular, the exploration of Groundwater, Mineral and Geothermal Energy Resources is one of the methods we use very often in mineral research.
Depending on the purpose of the study, Vertical Electrical Drilling, Electrical Profile (Multi-Channel Electrical Tomography), Miselamase are the measurement techniques we use most frequently.

         Electrical Survey Type;
       - Self-Potential (Natural Source)
       - Electrical Resistivity (1D -VES-, 2D Electrical Tomography)
       - Induced Polarization (Time Domain, Frequency Domain)

       A-) Investigation of Geothermal, Mineral and Groundwater Resources

- Determination of Reservoir Rock Depth,
- Determination of the distribution of geothermal/mineral-groundwater resources,
- Determining the re-injection site and location,
- Illumination of the hydrogeological structure, stratigraphic and tectonic structure,
- Determination of Groundwater Production Drilling Well Location where optimum efficiency can be obtained,
- Determination of salt water penetration limit.

       B-) Solving Engineering & Geotechnical Problems:

- Determination of the underground water level,
- Determination of fill thickness and bedrock level,
- Revealing the landslide and slip geometry,
- Cover thickness in paleo seismological studies, determination of faults, determination of tranche excavations

- Determination of the spread of karstic structures such as potholes,
-Revealing the Geological-Geotechnical profile in the road-tunnel route selection,

       C-) Mining Exploration:

       D-) Environmental Studies

- Determination of salt water interference,
- Choosing the location of storage areas such as garbage or investigating whether there are environmental leaks from these storage areas

       E-) Non-destructive Building Quality Control:

       F-) Geological Surveys

- In the creation of geological maps and sections, in determining the contact boundaries of the units,,

- Illumination of the stratigraphic and tectonic structure by determining the vertical and lateral changes of the geological units,,

       G-) Archaeological Researches

- Successful results can be obtained in archaeological research with the ERT (Multi-channel Electrical Resistivity Tomography) technique.
